Back in 1981, TCBY opened the country's first frozen yogurt shop in Arkansas. Realizing quickly that we had a unique product the country was clamoring for, we started offering franchise opportunities the following year. Since that time, we've continued to grow to over 360 stores nationwide.

We are also continually looking for ways to keep our customers satisfied and coming back for more. That's why we joined forces with Mrs. Fields® in 2000 to become Mrs. Fields Famous Brands. Today, TCBY leads the market in nutrition, taste, and new product innovation, always reaching to anticipate the evolving needs and wants of our customers.

As of 2010, we've remodeled our interiors and our brand to reflect our forward-thinking outlook on the future with a modern brand and logo, colorful palette and chic interior decor. We've been building a legacy of great tasting, healthy frozen desserts for the past thirty years and we don't have any intention of slowing down or looking back.

TCBY Goes Greek!

 TCBY's soft-serve Greek frozen yogurt is now available in stores nationwide.

Honey Vanilla is the first flavor to launch this spring, with additional flavors available this summer.  With twice the protein and all the health attributes of Super Fro-Yo, TCBY's Greek fro-yo is the healthiest fro-yo around. 

Greek yogurt is one of the fastest growing trends in the grocery store dairy aisle today. Consumers look to Greek yogurt as a satisfying, filling and healthy option. For this reason, TCBY's Greek fro-yo is a great option as a delicious, nutritious treat, or topped with nuts and fruit as a perfect meal-time replacement.

What makes TCBY Super Fro-Yo?

We know that people everywhere are doing what they can to live and eat healthier. In 2011 TCBY introduced Super Fro-Yo, a new classification of super nutritious frozen yogurt that remains unparalleled. 

Super Fro-Yo includes a special combination of nutrients that work together to improve your overall sense of well-being.

Although there are many forms of beneficial yogurt and frozen yogurt retailers in the market today, TCBY's soft-serve frozen yogurt is one of the select few that can truly be called Super Fro-Yo.

To qualify as Super Fro-Yo, most of our frozen yogurts meet or exceed the following guidelines per serving:*

  • Fiber: Must have a minimum of 3 grams
  • Probiotics: Must have a minimum of 7 types of live & active cultures
  •   Vitamin D: Must have a minimum of 20% DV
  • Calcium: Must have a minimum of 20% DV
  • Protein: Must have a minimum of 4 gram
In addition to the above nutritionals, the following values are also present in Super Fro-Yo: 120 calories or less; minimum 10% DV Vitamin A; 1 gram or less of saturated fat; minimum of 20 billion live & active cultures per serving at manufacturing.
